Puppies’ Night Out

May 16 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Did you recently add a new puppy to your family? Puppies’ Night Out is an opportunity to get your new pup (age 3 to 9 months) some much needed socialization and is an opportunity for you to learn more about their behaviors and how to best communicate with them!

Puppies’ Night Out takes place in our Small Dog Park and is Lead by Bar K’s own Assistant Park Manager, Britton Daniels. Britton has worked with all kinds of animals over the last decade, with a focus on dog behavior specifically in the last few years. His passion is understanding and helping others understand why dogs are the way they are and act the way they do!

Come out on Thursday evenings and join us while we cover the following topics :

  • Week 1 : Introduction to Body Language and Signals
  • Week 2 : Investigation of New Stimuli
  • Week 3 : Introduction to Desensitization
  • Week 4 : Introduction to Early Training

____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

As always, entry is free for humans and Bar K Members. For Non-Members bringing a dog, entry is $10 for the first dog and $5 for each additional dog in the household. Saturday & Sunday increases to $15 for your first dog, $5 for each additional dog.

DOG ENTRY REQUIREMENTS :

  • Must be current on vaccinations (Rabies, DHLPP/Da2PP and Bordetella)
  • Must be properly socialized for group play
  • Must be at least 12 weeks old
  • Must have an ID tag at all times (if you don’t have one, we will provide at our Front Desk)
