Teaming up to help others

it's all about community

At Bar K, we believe that dogs have a unique ability to bring people together in a way that few things are able to do. When people come together, communities are built and there is tremendous power in communities to make a difference in this world.

Bar K Barks Back is an initiative that brings the Bar K team, Members, and guests together to help to serve our communities.

Each quarter, Bar K partners with a nonprofit in each community to volunteer, raise money and ultimately help these organizations achieve their mission.

“The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.”

Our partner this quarter

For 20 years, The Pet Resource Center of Kansas City (PRCKC) has provided a powerful set of services that pet owners in the KC metro need to help keep their pets off the streets, out of shelters and in their homes.

That includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, supplies/resources, support, minor medical care, education and a shoulder to lean on. When pet owners have nowhere else to go, we’re here to help, leading with love, keeping pets and people where they belong … together.

How you can Participate

To help support our Bar K Barks Back partner, we’ve put a special drink on tap that you’re going to love!  For the month of April, we’ve chosen the Rieger Seltzer and for each of these sold, $1 will go back to the Pet Resource Center of Kansas City!  Cheers to that!

This is a night you don’t want to miss!  For one special night,  Bar K will donate 10% of all F&B sales right back to the Pet Resource Center of Kansas City.  All you have to do is show up and enjoy something from our food and beverage menu!

You’ll also have a chance to meet the team from PRCKC and learn more about ways in which they help our communities.

For the month of March, we’ll have a big blue bin up front and will be collecting items for PPCKC.  This is an opportunity for you to donate new or gently used items that will help PRCKC serve the community.
