1ST ANNUAL BAR K PUPPY BOWL

Get ready for a fun-football-filled day at our 1st Annual Puppy Bowl! Presented by LOYAL OKC, Palomar, The Homeless Alliance and OK Humane Society, Bar K will be the place to be!

These non-profit groups help countless people and dogs in need every year and will have a special opportunity for Bar K visitors to get involved with. They are partnering with a technology platform, BestyBnB, to provide secure, safe, temporary foster homes for their clients’ pets during times of crisis so they can seek help. BestyBnB enables animal welfare and social services agencies to work together during difficult personal times. The OK Humane’s Animal Advocacy Program, a collaboration with Palomar: Oklahoma City’s Family Justice Center serves victims of domestic violence by assisting with pet care while victims flee from dangerous situations.

The goal (besides scoring touchdowns!) is to help connect these pups in need with a new Besty – could that be you? Anyone who signs up for the program will receive a Free Entry Punch Card, good for 10 free day pass entries into Bar K with the foster dog you have in your care along with your personal dogs!

For game time, join us in our Small Dog Park for six action-packed, 15-minute matches featuring 6 v 6 puppies. Three matches will star lovable adoptable puppies from 405 Animal Rescue, while the other three matches are open for anyone to sign up their playful pup! (ages 3-6 months, and current on vaccinations)

Bring your furry friends, enjoy the matches, and explore the fantastic offerings from on-site vendors Bone Dog Boutique and Two Dapper Dudes! Furry Land Mobile Dog Grooming will also be on-site and offering Bar K visitors $5 nail trims for their pups. It’s an event you won’t want to miss. • 1:00 pm: Registration opens (Guest Ambassadors at the Front Desk will help get you signed up!)
• 1:15 pm – 1:30 pm: Match 1 – Rescue Match
• 1:45 pm – 2:00 pm: Match 2 – Open Registration Match
• 2:15 pm – 2:30 pm: Match 3 – Rescue Match
• 2:45 pm – 3:00 pm: Match 4 – Open Registration Match
• 3:15 pm – 3:30 pm: Match 5 – Rescue Match
• 3:45 pm – 4:00 pm: Match 6 – Open Registration Match

As always, entry is free for humans and Bar K Members. For Non-Members bringing a dog, entry is $10 ($15 on Sat/Sun) for the first dog and $5 for each additional dog in the household.

DOG ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:
• Must be current on vaccinations (Rabies, DHLPP/Da2PP and Bordetella)
• Must be properly socialized for group play
• Must be at least 12 weeks old
• Puppies who are under 25 lbs AND under six months of age are allowed in the Small Dog Park only, or on our on-leash patios. This is because puppies of that age and size may not have the experience or physical ability to play safely among large adult dogs. Once your puppy is over 25lbs or 6 months of age, they are permitted to play in the All Dog Park.
