Join us on Monday, July 18th from 6-8pm to help support our July Bar K Barks Back partner, the Missouri Alliance for Animal Legislation (MAAL). During this event, staff/volunteers from the organization will be on-site to share information about their work, answer questions, and give away prizes! Bar K will be donating 10% of our food and beverage sales during the event to MAAL.
Founded in 1990 to address the major puppy mill problem in our state, MAAL advocates for the welfare of animals by helping to pass legislation to protect companion animals, farm animals, and wildlife from abuse, neglect, and inhumane exploitation. They also work to ensure effective enforcement of current animal protection laws.
Bar K will also donate $1 for every Bar K IPA sold in the month of July to MAAL, and our friends at Urban Chestnut Brewing Company have generously agreed to match this donation!
