Bar K Running Club

Join us every Wednesday at 6:30 PM for the Bar K Running Club, and don’t forget to bring your pup along! This fun group run is open to people and dogs of all ability levels. We’ve designed a beautiful 5K course along the Riverfront Heritage Trail, with just one street crossing for the entire route. Plus, the course loops back right in front of Bar K at the halfway point, in case you or your pup aren’t feeling up to it that day. If your doggy isn’t a runner, no worries! You’re welcome to leave him/her in our fully staffed dog park while you go for your run.

The Bar K Running Club is free to join, and as a bonus, you’ll receive a complimentary post-run beverage ticket. This ticket is valid for a 16 oz draft beer, 12 oz tap cocktail, or any non-alcoholic beverage of your choice.

And there’s more! If you want to enjoy our park with your pup before or after the run, entry is free for Bar K Members. For non-Members, it’s just $10 for your first dog and an additional $5 for each other dog in your pack.

As always, entry is free for humans and Bar K Members. For Non-Members bringing a dog, entry is $10 for the first dog and $5 for each additional dog in the household. During peak season (April-October), the cost on Saturday & Sunday increases to $15 for your first dog, $5 for each additional dog. DOG ENTRY REQUIREMENTS 

• Must be current on vaccinations (Rabies, DHLPP/Da2PP and Bordetella)
• Must be properly socialized for group play
• Must be at least 12 weeks old
• Must have an ID tag at all times (if you don’t have one, we will provide at our Front Desk) 
• Puppies who are under 25 lbs AND under six months of age are allowed in the Small Dog Park only, or on one of our on-leash patios. This is because puppies of that age and size may not have the experience or physical ability to play safely among large adult dogs. Once your puppy is over 25lbs or 6 months of age, they are permitted to play in the All Dog Park.
