Breed Meet-up: Coonhounds and Cattle Dogs

February 18 @ 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Every Meet-Up, we dive into the diverse and captivating world of dog breeds, shining a spotlight on their individual quirks, the dedicated groups that adore them, and their unique contributions to our lives. This Sunday, we’re mixing it up with a fun and fascinating breed mash-up: Coonhounds and Cattle Dogs!

Coonhounds and Cattle Dogs represent a blend of the best of both worlds. Coonhounds, with their keen noses and melodious barks, are the epitome of the tireless, trail-blazing spirit. On the other side, Cattle Dogs, known for their sharp intelligence and vigorous energy, epitomize the hardworking, herding dynamo. Together, these breeds create a symphony of howls and herding, showcasing both the pursuit prowess of the Coonhounds and the strategic smarts of the Cattle Dogs.

Bring your Coonhound, Cattle Dog, or any wonderful mix of the two this Sunday and enjoy some great specials: half-price draft beers and $5 off your first dog entry fee. Let’s celebrate the adventurous spirits and intelligent minds of Coonhounds and Cattle Dogs at our Meet-Up event!

As always, entry is free for humans and Bar K Members. For Non-Members bringing a dog, entry is $10 for the first dog and $5 for each additional dog in the household. The cost on Saturday & Sunday increases to $15 for your first dog, $5 for each additional dog. You can complete the Guest Entry Form in advance by following the link below or fill it out at our Front Desk.
