Mango Wave Dog Portraits

Join us from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM for an unforgettable evening filled with fun, furry friends, refreshing beverages, and the opportunity to create lasting memories. brought to you by Kona Big Wave and Golden Road Mango Cart!

Capture beautiful memories of your furry friends (and their owners) with professional photographer Molly Kuplen. We invite dogs of all ages, sizes, and breeds to have their portraits taken. But that’s not all! Every dog portrait will be entered for a chance to be featured in the official Bar K 2024 Dog Calendar, available for purchase starting August 20th. Voting parties to decide which pups will make the calendar will take place on July 28th and August 4th. Best of all, all proceeds from calendar sales will be donated to KC Pet Project, a wonderful organization dedicated to helping pets in need.

As you enjoy the evening, don’t forget to savor the flavors of Kona Big Wave and Golden Road Mango Cart, two delightful beers prominently featured at Bar K. We’ll be offering free samples of these fantastic brews throughout the event.

This event is open to the public, and the dog portraits will be available free of charge.

As always, entry is free for humans and Bar K Members. For Non-Members bringing a dog, entry is $10 for the first dog and $5 for each additional dog in the household. During peak season (April-October), the cost on Saturday & Sunday increases to $15 for your first dog, $5 for each additional dog. DOG ENTRY REQUIREMENTS 

• Must be current on vaccinations (Rabies, DHLPP/Da2PP and Bordetella)
• Must be properly socialized for group play
• Must be at least 12 weeks old
• Must have an ID tag at all times (if you don’t have one, we will provide at our Front Desk) 
• Puppies who are under 25 lbs AND under six months of age are allowed in the Small Dog Park only, or on one of our on-leash patios. This is because puppies of that age and size may not have the experience or physical ability to play safely among large adult dogs. Once your puppy is over 25lbs or 6 months of age, they are permitted to play in the All Dog Park.
