Grab your pup and your kids and join us for a special book signing and your chance to meet the author of “The Goobies” comic strip. Local KC-based cartoonist (and Bar K Regular!) Megan Levens has lived with and loved animals since as far back as she can remember. Growing up in rural Missouri, she was always surrounded by her family’s rescued dogs, cats, horses, even the occasional family of possums. Levens created and self-published her comic strip THE GOOBIES to celebrate our unique and often humorous relationship with our dogs, as seen through the eyes of her own two Boston Terriers, Ozzie and Bones.
Megan will share her journey of creating “The Goobies” comic strip and allow Bar K Members and guests an opportunity to purchase a signed copy of the book for $15.
Entry is free for all kids and humans. For those bringing a dog, a day pass is $10 for the first dog and $5 for each additional dog in the household.
