Taught by Jeremy Rinehart Dog Training, this basic obedience training is a foundational program that is beneficial to start before engaging in other training options. Whether you have a well-behaved family pet or a service and hunting dog, it all begins with establishing a strong groundwork of basic obedience.
The basic obedience program comprises 8-10 fundamental commands that help build self-confidence, patience, and permission, providing your dog with the necessary skills for a healthy and enduring relationship with you. Some of the most common commands and areas of improvement covered include:
– Household Manners
– Sit / Come / Lay Down / Stay / Leave It
– No Jumping or Barking
– Off-Leash Compliance
– Heel
– No Pulling On The Leash
This is a 1-hour class that consists of four weekly sessions, priced at $175 per person (Members earn a $25 discount).
The class schedule is as follows:
– Wednesday, July 19th, 7 pm – 8 pm
– Wednesday, July 26th, 7 pm – 8 pm
– Wednesday, August 2nd, 7 pm – 8 pm
– Wednesday, August 9th, 7 pm – 8 pm
All classes will be held in Petfinder Park.
In the event of inclement weather, any cancellations will be rescheduled for Wednesday, August 9th, 7 pm – 8 pm.
Dog Entry Fees are included in Class Registration.

DOG ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
• Must be current on vaccinations (Rabies, DHLPP/Da2PP and Bordetella)
• Must be properly socialized for group play
• Must be at least 12 weeks old
• Puppies who are under 25 lbs AND under six months of age are allowed in the Small Dog Park only, or on one of our on-leash patios. This is because puppies of that age and size may not have the experience or physical ability to play safely among large adult dogs. Once your puppy is over 25lbs or 6 months of age, they are permitted to play in the All Dog Park
