Ugly Sweater Party

Join us at Bar K for an exciting Ugly Sweater Party on Saturday, December 16th, from 12 pm to 3 pm. This year, we’re partnering with Tito’s Handmade Vodka, who will be handing out free ugly sweaters for dogs and creating custom ornaments for you and your dog, while supplies last! Set the festive mood right with tunes from DJ Smiley, ready to keep the party lively throughout the afternoon.

The highlight of the event is our Ugly Sweater Costume Contests on the Seresto Stage, featuring two rounds: one for humans and one for dogs, each limited to 25 participants. Check-in starts at 12:00 pm, with the contest kicking off at 1:30 pm. We’re thrilled to have some special judges this year: the wonderful team from On A Mission KC, the folks at Westlake, and the enthusiastic KC Frenchie Club!

Don’t miss out on photo opportunities with Santa, brought to you by Malfer KC, and the Grinch, courtesy of Hope House. Treat yourself to our special $8.00 Jolly Mule, featuring Tito’s Handmade Vodka. With festive decorations and activities in the Beer Garden Tent, this is sure to be a holiday party you won’t forget. Let’s celebrate the season in style at Bar K!

As always, entry is free for humans and Bar K Members. For Non-Members bringing a dog, entry is $10 for the first dog and $5 for each additional dog in the household. During peak season (April-October), the cost on Saturday & Sunday increases to $15 for your first dog, $5 for each additional dog. DOG ENTRY REQUIREMENTS 

• Must be current on vaccinations (Rabies, DHLPP/Da2PP and Bordetella)
• Must be properly socialized for group play
• Must be at least 12 weeks old
• Must have an ID tag at all times (if you don’t have one, we will provide at our Front Desk) 
• Puppies who are under 25 lbs AND under six months of age are allowed in the Small Dog Park only, or on one of our on-leash patios. This is because puppies of that age and size may not have the experience or physical ability to play safely among large adult dogs. Once your puppy is over 25lbs or 6 months of age, they are permitted to play in the All Dog Park.
